<b>Introduction</b>: Acute kidney injury is a common complication following pediatric heart surgery, and it has been linked to an increased risk of morbidity fatality.<br /> <b>Methods</b>: The PubMed Medline databases were combed for relevant research until May 2022. terms [Cardiac surgery] AND [acute renal injury] [newborns OR children neonates] [randomized control studies randomized trials] used as search criteria. that met the inclusion criteria considered qualified using preferred reporting items systematic reviews meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines.<br <b>Results</b>: A total 2,941 newborns or enrolled in 14 studies, with 931 developing acute damage. 2,095 infants received steroid, aminophylline, dexmedetomidine, acetaminophen therapies. In seven odds ratio steroids was not significantly different from control. contrast, two comparing aminophylline group found no statistically significant change. Two difference dexmedetomidine therapy compared Three trials, however, between treatment groups.<br <b>Conclusion</b>: Acetaminophen decreased postoperative injury, while had benefit could be justified.
